We bring the chess gear and knowledge to public libraries and schools for free! Instruction is available in English and Spanish.
Every Saturday from 10am-noon at the Copper Queen Library in historic Bisbee (except March 30 when we are at the Benson Community Center from 3-5pm.
Second and fourth Fridays at the Copper Queen Library Annex from noon-2pm in the San Jose neighborhood of Bisbee.
Second and fourth Thursdays at the Douglas Public Library from 3-5pm.
First Thursdays at the Huachuca City Public Library from 3-5pm.
Friday January 19 at the Elfrida Library from 3-5pm.
Thursday May 2 at El Centro in Naco, Arizona from 3-5pm

We offer the chess club every Saturday from 10 a.m to 12 p.m. at 6 Main Street in Bisbee, AZ. Instruction is available in both English and Spanish. We love to teach beginners! In 2019, the Library Journal named the Copper Queen Library the Best Small Library in America. The CQL was also named a Finalist for the National Medal for Museum and Library Services (2022).
